In 2022 I started painting things I saw on my daily walks through the lanes in the parish of Week St Mary in North Cornwall. Sometimes just the juxtaposition of two things, like a pale field and a dark hedge, would be enough to start me off. The more I looked, the more I noticed, and the more I found to bring back to the studio and paint. Hedgerows in particular became a source of daily fascination. I ended up with a collection of paintings that celebrate these hedgerows. I felt that they really belong together, so have published them in this small book.

The book is 21cms x 21cms with 30 pages of paintings and a few poems
